About Keeta dPoS & Decentralization Metrics

Keeta uses delegated Proof-of-Stake (dPoS) where KTA holders delegate their voting weight to representatives. Representatives validate transactions and participate in consensus.

The Nakamoto Coefficient is the minimum number of representatives needed to control more than 50% of the total voting power — a higher value indicates better decentralization. The Gini coefficient (0–1) measures inequality in the distribution of voting power, where 0 = perfect equality and 1 = maximum concentration. The Lorenz curve visualizes this — the shaded area between the curve and the diagonal represents the degree of inequality.
